This townhouse stood in for Priestly's home in "The Devil Wears Prada".

Isn't this the same carpet as in the movie, when Andy goes to the top of the stairs and see Miranda arguing with her husband?

Not crazy about some of the artwork, but overall, the house is quite nice. Beautiful stairs.

Lovely. Waaay nicer than Bey and Jay Z‘s new digs in Malibu.

I like one painting, and I think the rugs may be the best thing about the house which has a few nice features (the great circular window) but appears to have been renovated and renovated again and again and again so that there's not much left to the house but renovation.

The rugs don't fit with the furnishings. I assume they are from a previous owner, or that the current furnishings are rented for staging. The rugs are bold and expensive, the furniture timid and a bit Mid-Western.

It's a pleasant house, but a nicer place for a corporate assignment in the city than to own and live there in the long term.

I hate the artwork above the fireplace.

The ceiling heights look different from room to room.

They used the same house for Somethings Gotta Give.

‘You went upstairs? You went upstairs. Oh my God. Why didn’t you just crawl into bed with [Miranda] and ask for a bedtime story’

Stifling. And no elevator?

Hard pass as any price.

Lovely place, I dont like the art or much of the furniture but thats just staging, the house itself has been renovated really well for the most part and retains lots of the original mouldings etc. I'd change a few lights and bits and pieces but it really doesnt need much done to it inside and the outside is just beautiful.

As R3 says "Waaay nicer than Bey and Jay Z‘s new digs in Malibu." - quite so - and at about 1/8th the price too

There's another more spacious kitchen so I guess it doesn't matter that this one is narrow.

It does have a bit of a backyard but not a very big one. It is the UES, after all.
